Katie and Walter – Destination Marriage

Boarding pass invitations have become very popular for couples having a destination wedding, so we were super excited to put our own twist on the theme. Celebrating their wedding in the Dominican Republic, we were able to “go tropical” and create an invitation for Katie and Walter that is both fun and elegant. The bright yellow and tropical orange are a beautiful combination, and the hibiscus adds a simple, but elegant touch.

Not only did each invitation package include a boarding pass invitation, but each pass was personalized with the guest(s) names, and the airport code from which they were to depart. The additional information card included travel info and other event details. With the passes tucked inside a portable pocket, the invitation was then wrapped with a monogrammed belly-band which held the coordinating response card and envelope. The rounded corners are a small touch, but add a big impact to the overall look of this invitation. A matching outer envelope, addressed for each guest, delivered the completed package.

This was such a fun invitation to design and we couldn’t be happier for Katie and Walter. And with the snow that just got dumped on Michigan, we’d be lying if we said we weren’t a little jealous of their upcoming nuptials in the Dominican. Congrats!
